A New Perspective - Spring 24
Inspired by Christo and Jeanne Claude’s creative textile wrapping of buildings and objects, the Spring 24 collection uses references to the spectacular scale, colours and techniques used by the artists to create a collection of simple yet impactful styles.
Entitled ‘A New Perspective’, the collection invites you to consider familiar styles in new ways. Subtle & unexpected details breathe new life into wardrobe classics, which includes casual denim dressed up with sequins and a basic masculine shirt elevated with decorative silver buttons and cufflinks.
The artists’ monumental work is also reflected in the spaciousness of the clothing – with voluminous cuts and wide trousers creating effortless silhouettes alongside oversized collars, buttons and turn-ups. Wrapping and structure are also key themes, with drawstrings, tie fastenings and belts added to bring definition to the wide or floaty silhouettes. Ribbed and pleated fabric add a structural element to many tops and dresses, supplemented by draping, gathers and overlapping details.
Colours and prints are united by a natural palette, with the neutral spectrum of sand, stone, mélange and cream, brightened with flashes of green, blue, yellow and pink. Sculptural and defined fabrics are worn alongside soft and drapy materials and stretchy rib, providing the foundation for creating confident contrasts and bold combinations that reflect your style from a new perspective.
